Mary Behre’s Nightstand
My name is Mary Behre. I’m a paranormal romantic suspense author and my nightstand is overflowing with books I want to read.
See, I’m in the middle of promoting Guarded, Book #2 in the Tidewater Series. That leaves me precious little time for anything else. But, I really need time to read for pleasure.
So I’ve carved out a mini vacation. For two glorious days, my only responsibility will be to read to my heart’s content! And there are three books on my nightstand that take top priority.
What does a paranormal romantic suspense writer read? EVERYTHING!
The first book on my list of must reads is Valerie Bowman’s The Unexpected Duchess. I really love fun, witty, historical romances and Bowman’s have it all.
Then of course, I’m dying to read Vampire Most Wanted by Lynsay Sands. I’ve been waiting for Marcus’s book and it’s here!
Last by no means least, the third book I’m determined to read on my vacation? Ashes, Ashes They All Fall Dead by romantic suspense author, Lena Diaz. Ms. Diaz really knows how to drive the suspense home and I so love that!
And after I finish reading those, I’ll sleep because who needs to sleep on a vacation when there’s time to read?
Mary Behre is the lone female in a house full of males and the undisputed queen of her domain. She even has the glittery tiara to prove it. She loves stories with humor, ghosts, mysteries and above all else, a good romance. When not writing, she enjoys reading, gluten-free baking, and hanging out at the beach with the most important men in her life, her family. Her debut paranormal romance, Spirited (Tidewater Novel #1) was an award-winning manuscript before it sold to Berkley Sensation. Guarded, her latest novel in the Tidewater series, is available now.
We’d love to know what books are waiting for you on your nightstand. Send a description to us here.
