Killer Nashville 2013 by Julie Anne Lindsey
I had the pleasure and thrill of attending Killer Nashville this summer. As a first time attender, I was somehow lucky enough to land a spot on a YA panel with my new release, Deceived. The overall experience was one I’m eager to repeat and happy to share. Clay Stafford puts on quite a party!
Killer Nashville occurs annually in Nashville, Tennessee. Hundreds of mystery lovers travel from around the country to be part of the fun. During the four day event, I met a number of aspiring crime writers, bestselling authors, agents, editors, publishers, some of my fellow Sisters in Crime, attorneys, publicists, local book sellers, and private investigators. There was even a replica crime scene created and monitored by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation where we amateur sleuths could try our hand at solving a murder.
If you’re considering a mystery lovers’ conference, I highly recommend Killer Nashville. Everything about the weekend was amazing. I had a phenomenal time at the conference, enjoyed the local culture and nightlife, PLUS I made a few friendships sure to last a lifetime. Killer Nashville is officially a do-not-miss event on my calendar.
