Snapped: Where I Write? Inside Mary Kubica’s Space
Mary Kubica, author of the thrilling The Good Girl (which kept us up more than a few nights!) shows us where she makes the magic happen.
“When writing The Good Girl, I snuck away to any quiet corner I could possibly find, which, with two toddlers running amuck in my home while I worked, was no easy task. Since the novel’s release we’ve carved an office out of a spare bedroom, and I’m thrilled to finally have a place to call my own. It’s filled with books and enlarged book covers, and some of my favorite inspirational quotes on writing. It’s a wonderful space where I can go, close the door, enjoy the solitude and spend some quality time with my characters and my work. As someone who works from home, it also provides a much-needed divide between my personal and professional lives. Most days I’m blessed to have the company of a cat or two or four.”
